Beijing Capital Airport

Location
Located 27km (18m) northeast to the city centre. It is half an hour's drive through the express way.

Shuttle Bus Transfers
From Xidan Ticketing Center: for every half an hour betwen 5:30am to 19:00pm
From Art Gallery, International Hotel and Zhongguancun: for every hour.
From airport to the downtown: available until the last arrival flight.

There are banks, ATMs, IDD Call telephone booths (mostly for IC card), 24 hour medical centre, post office, lot of shops (including duty free), restaurants, etc.

Customs
Duty Free Allowance - 400 cigarettes (600 cigarettes for stays over 6 months); 2 liters of alcoholic beverages; reasonable amount of perfume for personal use. Prohibited items: Arms, ammunition, radio transmitters or receivers, exposed but undeveloped film. Baggage declaration forms must be completed upon arrival noting all valuables (cameras, watches, jewellery, etc). Copy presented to customs upon leaving for checking.
