Paul, Thank
you for your e-mail, it was beautiful. And thank you for the birthday
call you sent. It was very kind. It was hard to
say good-bye, the trip was a very magical journey, in which the world
seemed so tiny and so vast, so familiar and so mysterious.
You
were absolutely not an idiot tour guide! It is certainly challenging
how to share your homeland with six guests from across the world in
only ten days! You did a really wonderful job, and the whole group felt
lucky to have you as our guide.

The purpose
of this e-mail is to let you know how pleased I have been with the service
your company has provided me in my trip planning.
Paul Yin, in your English Department has been patient,
thorough and extremely professional in helping me with my travel
arrangements. I too, am in the travel business and can recognize and
appreciate this kind of professionalism.
I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and CITS Guilin, to any of my
friends, clients or family members who need assistance with travel arrangements
to China. I will also put a recommendation on the internet.
If the arrangements Paul has made to date go as well as the planning
stages then I am sure that my China travel experience will be rewarding.
Paul is truly an fine representative of your company and an asset to
CITS Guilin.
Sincerely,

Thanks so much for a wonderful trip to China. It was great that we
were able to plan and coordinate our trip with you through the internet.
Your help in customizing our tour was great, and we certainly could
not have done it without your assistance. Your responsiveness made our
trip planning a pleasure! When we finally arrived in Guilin, it was
great to finally meet you all in person for I felt we had developed
a friendship.

Back home
from our trip to China, I feel that you should be one of the first persons
with whom I should share our impressions about it. We know that we can
add little to the many who praised the beautiful landscapes of China,
its exciting historical landmarks, and the friendliness of the people.
We wish to focus on our very individual experience. We confess, apologetically
by now, that we were intimidated about making travel arrangements by
Internet for our complex itinerary, at a very short notice, and we were
anxious to see if your advice fitted our expectations. Now
I can conclude wholehearted that everything turned out very well. Your
assistance was most professional and the arrangements (timetable, flight
arrangements, tours, and hotels) were most reliable; if anything,
occasionally, they were even above our expectations.
Please
also accept our personal thanks to all the people from CITS, car drivers
and tour guides, who assisted us during our trip. We plan to be back
in China.

Hello,
On behalf of myself and my members, we would like to envoy our warmest
appreciation to you and Mr. Victor Shu, who made our trip to
Beijing so enjoyable, and to Mr. Lie Jie Sheng, CITS local guide whose
explanation and knowledge illuminate us. He is the best guide we had
ever met in China. Thank you for your help. Should you thinking of visiting
Bali please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will do my best to
assist you. See you.

CITS
ONLINE BOOKING CENTER OFFERS REAL FAST SERVICE OVER THE INTERNET!
When we prepared our journey in the provinces of YUNNAN, GHUIZOU and
GUANGXI, we
tried
to have contacts by e-mail with different travel agencies in the region.
It is important to know that my wife and myself have not traveled in
group; we like to adapt our vacation journeys on our own feelings and
canters of interest. We received only a few answers on our requests
for information. It seems that the majority of
the travel agencies are not interested in travelers who do not want
to travel in group. From the beginning, we had very good contacts, by
e-mail, with the GUILIN CITS. Our contact person at GUILIN CITS took
our remarks in consideration and did also very good proposals when our
requests were not realistic. Our trip in the three Southern provinces
was a very exciting experience. Nearly all the local guides were
very good and some of them really excellent. As we trailed already before
in different other countries of South East Asia, we were very surprised
by the quality of the lodging, even in small cities. We had the opportunity
to see different ethnic minorities, nice cities as LIJANG, the very
nice drum towers and wind and rain bridges of the DONG people in Sanjiang
and wonderful landscapes as the rice terraces in Longsheng and the rive
LI. In short, we are very satisfied about the
service that was offered and, we really believe that we had value for
money. So, we can recommend to everybody to make use of the services
of the GUILIN CITS, even for journeys in provinces other than GUANGXI.

kudos
to your package and hospitality
Thank you again for all of your hard work (& overtime). We had a great
time. Overall, your package provided tremendous
coverage of the most important sights across all the cities we visited,
including Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. Highlights: We were especially
pleased with the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City.
All of these were truly remarkable, and a 'must see' for anyone venturing
into these cities. The Great Wall is indescribable and awe-inspiring.
The Summer Palace was a beautiful site, yet the fog hid a lot. The painted
corridor (longest in the world) was amazing, with painstaking detail
in the artwork. The Forbidden City was a masterpiece.
Lunches & Dinners were very nice, with a good balance of different,
regional cuisine. Too much food for two!
Xi'an was our favorite. The Bell & Drum Towers in the heart of town,
along with our visit to the (Large) Wild Goose Pagoda was memorable.
The Stone Steles museum marked a time in history that we feel guilty
about our own ignorance. The old district & the Wall surrounding the
district, was 'Great' in its own right. Obviously, the highlight was
the Terra-cotta Warriors, which we can only say that words do not do
this sight justice. One must visit to understand the magnitude of this
world treasure.
Again, our guide Wan, was a treasure as well. She spoke English very
well, and we felt she was truly interested in a cultural exchange. I
found this surprising, as the guides deal with so many tourists everyday.
She deserves a raise!
Shanghai
was amazing, largely due to the amount of growth in such a short timeframe.
The quality of buildings and sights were astounding. The Yu Yuan Garden
was spectacular, and makes one very envious of those who enjoyed this
on a daily basis. It's unfortunate it was not completed before the Emperor's
Parent's passing. The Children's Palace is something that China should
be very proud of. The U.S. and other countries can learn a lot from
programs such as this. The kids were a delight, and you could see the
sparkle of light in there eyes. They loved what they were doing, and
are off to a great start in helping make this world a better place.
The Shanghai Museum was a wonder, and we could have easily spent all
day there. We successfully negotiated an additional hour or so, but
missed a large part of the 1st floor (the Bronze Age). Recommend Tourists
begin on this floor, and work their way up.
Visiting Beijing during the 50th Anniversary was a 'mixed blessing'.
The city was decorated in all of its glory, yet travel in car was very
difficult. I would not recommend travel during this time. We spent the
majority of time on our second (last) day in the car, rather than seeing
the sights. We did not get to see Tian a men (spelling?) Square due
to being stuck in the car for almost 3 hours!
